Floating browser tabs
Open browser content into always-on-top windows with keyboard shortcuts.
PipZ is a multi-PiP app for macOS - open as many Picture-in-Picture windows as you want from any browser tab. Videos, docs, dashboards, and reference tabs all stay on top while you work.
Open browser content into always-on-top windows with keyboard shortcuts.
Toggle a window so clicks and scrolls pass through to whatever is beneath. Hover the toolbar to interact again.
Adjust transparency per window to keep context without blocking the rest of your screen.
Align all active PiP windows to the left, right, top, or bottom edge in one step.
Save common positions and sizes, then reopen new PiP windows into those slots.
Pick an interval per window - 5s, 10s, 30s, 1m, 5m, or 15m - and PipZ reloads the page on its own.
Connect pipz-mcp to Claude, Cursor, or any MCP client and open, arrange, dim, or close PiP windows with natural language - in English or Korean.
Press ⌘⌥E to pick any element on the active tab - a video, a chart, a chat panel - and float just that piece, sized to its on-page geometry.
New window controls and integrations land in regular updates. Track what's shipping on the changelog.
⌘⌥U sources the active tab from any of these. Logos are trademarks of their respective owners.
Use PipZ for video reference, documentation, dashboards, or temporary browser utilities that need to stay above everything else.

No. It also works well for docs, dashboards, slides, and general browser references.
Yes. The built-in settings window lets you customize global shortcuts and related behavior.
Each PiP has a toolbar icon for both. Click-through routes clicks and scrolls to the app underneath; hover the top of the window to reach the toolbar again and turn it off. Auto-refresh opens a menu (Off, 5s, 10s, 30s, 1m, 5m, 15m) and reloads the page on that interval.
macOS 13 or later is recommended for the current build.
One-time purchase. After checkout, you receive an email with a license key - paste it into the Activate window when PipZ first launches. Solo covers 1 Mac, Plus covers up to 3, Team covers up to 5.
On the old Mac, click the PipZ status-bar icon and choose “Deactivate this Mac.” That frees a slot, and you can activate the new Mac with the same key.
